Yvonne S. Tam, D.D.S, M.S.
Dr. Tam’s journey began in the Bay Area, where she developed a passion for life through diverse experiences. Surrounded by pets—from rabbits to roosters, cats, and dogs—she learned the values of kindness and empathy early on. Her childhood was also enriched by a love for arts and crafts, fostering a lifelong affinity for creative expression.
As she pursued her academic interests, Dr. Tam’s curiosity led her to mathematics and science, ultimately steering her toward dentistry. At UCLA, she studied Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, building a strong foundation for her future endeavors. Her journey then took her to New York City, where she attended NYU College of Dentistry. Amidst the vibrant culinary scene, she honed her dental skills and indulged her passion for food.
After earning her dental degree, Dr. Tam returned to California to continue her professional journey. At USC, she specialized in Advanced Periodontics, earning a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Tam is board-certified with the American Board of Periodontology and offers IV sedation for patient comfort. She is dedicated to continuing education and actively pursues interdisciplinary care to stay at the forefront of her field.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Tam enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Together, they explore the natural beauty of Northern California, embracing outdoor adventures and savoring culinary delights. Through her dedication to excellence and patient well-being, Dr. Tam embodies the spirit of compassion, innovation, and lifelong learning.
John M. Bozanich, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Bozanich is a highly skilled periodontist based in the Bay Area, with a diverse background in dentistry. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, he honed his expertise during a five-year tenure as a General Dentist in Austin, TX. Driven by his passion for periodontics, he pursued advanced training at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, completing a three-year surgical residency and obtaining a Certificate in Periodontics along with a Masters of Science in Oral Biology in 2019.
Dr. Bozanich is deeply committed to providing comprehensive periodontal care and dental implant therapy of the highest quality. He specializes in the regeneration of lost hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity, utilizing cutting-edge techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Recognizing the importance of patient comfort, he offers IV conscious sedation as part of his treatment approach.
To ensure he remains at the forefront of his field, Dr. Bozanich maintains active memberships in several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, and American Dental Association, among others.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Bozanich enjoys exploring the vibrant culture and outdoor activities of the Bay Area, including skiing, biking, and running. His diverse interests and engagement with the community reflect his well-rounded approach to life and dentistry.
